About Fayetteville Automotive

Fayetteville Automotive sits on Huntsville Highway, the main road south out of Fayetteville toward Huntsville, and has served Lincoln County drivers there since 2015. It is a full-service repair shop for domestic and import cars and trucks: diagnostics, check engine lights, electrical work, brakes, steering and suspension, alignments, tires, heating and A/C, oil changes and scheduled maintenance. The team brings more than sixty years of combined experience, and the shop is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday.

Owner David Evans also owns Phil’s Car Care in Porter, Texas, a shop with a long cert board and one of the biggest review profiles we track (see our Phil’s Car Care profile). David is a certified ADAS technician, so the cameras and radar behind lane keeping, adaptive cruise and automatic braking can be calibrated in house after an alignment or a windshield job, which is rare for a small-town shop.

The other thing that sets Fayetteville Automotive apart is trucks. It is an authorized Rough Country dealer with a real showroom on site for lift kits, leveling kits, suspension parts, bed storage, toolboxes and floor liners, and the same technicians who sell the parts install them. For anyone building out a truck in Lincoln County, that saves a drive to Huntsville or Tullahoma.

Repairs carry a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. The shop offers a shuttle, vehicle pick-up and drop-off, a waiting room with Wi-Fi, and financing for larger jobs, and customers get inspection reports that show what the technicians found. The reviews come back to the same few words: straight answers, no upselling, and work that holds up.

Why Fayetteville Automotive is our #1 in Fayetteville

Fayetteville Automotive holds #1 in Fayetteville for four reasons you can check. It has the most Google reviews of any auto repair shop in town, 115 at a 4.7, nearly double the next shop. It backs repairs with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. It is the only shop on our list that is an authorized Rough Country dealer with a lift kit and accessory showroom on site, and the only one advertising in-house ADAS calibration. And it is open six days a week with a shuttle and pick-up and drop-off. The numbers we show openly: Brent’s Garage and MD Auto Repair both carry a 4.8 rating on about half as many reviews.

What customers say

Jill Lorraine

“This is the only place we will take our vehicles, and I am so grateful for them. They communicate quickly what is wrong, exactly how much it is going to cost, and when they can have it fixed. In the several years we have used them I have never felt the prices were unreasonable, or they were trying to take advantage of me. And they do excellent work.”
