Request a Review
Own or work at an independent auto repair shop? Ask us to review it. There is nothing to buy — no premium tier, no sponsored placement, no upsell. A review is free, and so is being told no.
What Happens When You Request a Review
- We verify the basics. Location, hours, services, and that the shop is currently operating. If we cannot confirm a shop through public sources, we do not list it.
- We review it by hand, against the same four criteria as everyone else. Review volume and rating across public platforms, warranty terms, and certifications — the measures on our methodology page, applied identically whether you asked for a review or not.
- If it meets our bar, it goes on its market page — ranked where the data puts it, not where either of us would like it to be.
Worth being blunt about: requesting a review does not guarantee a listing, and it certainly does not guarantee a ranking. We rank on the numbers. If a shop’s review history is thin or its warranty is minimal, it will place accordingly — or not place at all. We would rather say that now than take your information under false pretenses.
What to Send
The form below covers it. Two fields are optional but worth your time:
- Warranty terms — months and miles on parts and labor. Most shops forget to mention this, and it is one of the four things we rank on.
- Certifications — ASE, manufacturer training, AAA Approved, NAPA AutoCare, or equivalent.
Those two are where most shops undersell themselves. Certifications and warranties are hard-won, rarely well-advertised, and they carry real weight in our rankings.

Already Listed and Something Is Wrong?
Tell us and we will fix it — hours, services, warranty terms, certifications, ownership changes, or a closure. Corrections are free and do not require anything else from you.
If you think a ranking is wrong, say which of the four criteria you believe we got wrong and we will re-check it. We will not always agree, but we will always look.
