About Phil's Car Care
Phil’s Car Care has anchored auto repair in Porter, Texas since Phil Wofford opened the doors in 1988. Nearly four decades later it is owned and run by David Evans, and it has grown into one of the most decorated independent shops on the US-59 corridor between Kingwood and New Caney — without losing the family-shop feel that built its reputation. Located at 22321 East Martin Drive, it serves drivers across Porter, New Caney, Kingwood, Humble and Splendora.
The certifications are where Phil’s separates from the field. It is a NAPA Gold Certified auto care center with an ASE Master technician on staff, a Certified Car ADAS calibration center (David Evans holds I-CAR ProLevel 1 & 2 ADAS certification), and it carries AAA-Approved, RepairPal Certified and Carfax Auto Care standing on top of that. Most independent shops can claim one or two of those. Phil’s holds the whole board — and backs its work with a 3-year / 36,000-mile nationwide NAPA warranty.
